Comil celebrates another year of ISO 9001 certification
The company has 17 years of recognition in the ISO system.
Comil Ônibus S.A., one of the main bus builders in Brazil, won the ISO 9001 certification renewal. of business.
The ISO (International Organization Standardization) system seeks to ensure more agile production and optimized processes, in addition to quality management to efficiently meet customer demands. Therefore, it allows the organization to reduce costs, risks and avoid rework. The certification is granted by an external authority that attests to the company's quality, solidity and trust.
According to Comil's Quality Coordinator, Gustavo Minuzzi Bulegon, the main objective goes beyond the certification target. “Our focus is not the certification itself, but the practices of the management model. Certification comes as a consequence of what we want to strengthen in our company so that it becomes more and more routine. For this reason, we invest so much in training and qualification. It's no use having a physical structure, equipment and state-of-the-art technology if employees aren't committed to doing their best on a daily basis, because what makes things happen are people”, he says.
Currently, Comil has a mature quality system, intrinsic to the daily lives of employees, contractors and suppliers, optimizing all management processes and practices with a focus on its mission, vision and values.
“Comil Bus is very proud to have a robust and loyal management system in the team, so we participate by offering our customers consistent quality in the delivery of our products. This is an achievement for all of us, it is clear how much we have evolved over the years, especially in our processes, idealizing the growth of each professional here and consequently of the entire institution”, adds Comil's Financial Administrative Director, Carlo Corradi.
