Comil holds Children’s Christmas celebration for employees’ families
Saturday’s event, held on the 13th, brought together hundreds of children at the AACC
A magical afternoon filled with joy and fun marked Comil’s Children’s Christmas celebration. Held on Saturday, December 13, at AACC – Associação Atlética e Cultural Comil, the event brought together hundreds of children — sons and daughters, nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and godchildren of the company’s employees — along with their families.
The celebration, which has been a long-standing tradition for many years, featured the theme “The Magical Christmas Garden.” Within this universe, the venue was decorated with birdhouses, garden signs, pinwheels, and many flowers.
The games and workshops were also inspired by the theme. Children decorated their own wooden signs and took them home to adorn their gardens, surrounded by colorful paint and endless imagination — a total success! The popular face painting was also present, with butterflies, ladybugs, and reindeer painted on happy little faces. This year, children could also create garden animals through origami and make Santa Claus hats using fruit in a culinary workshop. Unimed was present with a hand hygiene workshop. Many traditional games, such as tug of war, egg-and-spoon races, and several others, were among the attractions. During storytelling time, children let their imagination run free while sitting on comfortable cushions on the lawn. Inflatable attractions for all ages and sizes completed the fun.
And of course, the much-anticipated arrival of Santa Claus, who this year arrived riding his bicycle and handed out gifts to all the children. In line with the event’s theme, each child received an eco-friendly doll in different shapes — such as a flower, ladybug, frog, dog, and bee — encouraging the cultivation and care of plants. The afternoon also featured the distribution of snacks, including popcorn, juice, hot dogs, fruit, and frozen treats, and Ervateira Inspira Mate provided the traditional mateada.
We thank the entire team of employees who made this magical afternoon possible for our families and community. This was yet another moment of integration between our team and their families.
