Comil kicks off "Pink October" programming.
The company's traditional campaign marks Women's Health Awareness Month.
The start of the month dedicated to women's health was marked this Friday, October 2nd, by the traditional group photo—"They Wear Pink"—at Comil Ônibus. On this day, female employees were invited to wear pink to reinforce the importance of paying attention to their health. In addition to the group photo, all employees—men included—received a pink ribbon symbolizing the campaign upon arriving at the company.
The company organizes various initiatives focused on prevention and women's health care, collaborating with partners to carry them out. Planned activities include: donations of headscarves to institutions treating women's cancer; a healthy eating workshop; preventive screenings, nursing assessments, and referrals for free mammograms (in partnership with Unimed); guidance on HPV (with the Municipal Health Department); and a lecture on female hormones by Dr. Sérgio Fabris Jr.
To wrap up the month, the "Pink Walk"—a 40-minute route led by professionals from Power Gym—highlights the importance of physical exercise at all ages. Love yourself! Take care of yourself! Prioritize prevention!
